Ravens' RBs Ingram, Dobbins Test Positive For COVID-19 After Titans Game

Baltimore Ravens running backs Mark Ingram and J.K. Dobbins both reportedly tested positive for COVID-19 on Monday, hours after the team's 30-24 overtime home loss to the Tennessee Titans.

Ingram and Dobbins will both be placed on the reserve/COVID-19 list on Monday after news of the positive tests, a source confirmed to ESPN. Baltimore is scheduled to face the Pittsburgh Steelers in the primetime Thanksgiving matchup on Thursday (November 26) night.

Gus Edwards is the only active running back on the Ravens' roster that has recorded a rushing attempt during the 2020 season. Justice Hill, who has seen limited action since being selected in the fourth round of the 2019 NFL Draft, is expected to be elevated to second on the depth chart while practice squad player Ty'Son Williams could be activated to the main roster.

Dobbins, a rookie selected in the second round of the 2020 NFL Draft, was quickly developing into the Ravens' primary option at running back, recording a career high 15 carries for 70 yards and a touchdown during Sunday's loss.

Ingram, a Pro Bowl selection in 2019, was limited to just six snaps -- the least among active Ravens running backs -- and two rushing attempts.

Last month, the Titans were fined $350,000 last week following the conclusion of a review into the organization's handling of a recent coronavirus outbreak, ESPN's Adam Schefter reports. There would be no individual punishments and the team will not forfeit games or draft picks, ESPN reports.

The Titans were reported to be fully cooperative while the NFL inspected the team's facility. The league found incidences of people not wearing masks, however, there was insufficient communication between regarding player workouts outside the facility as the franchise dealt with multiple COVID-19 cases.

The Titans reported a total of 24 positive cases, which includes 13 players and 11 team personnel, since September 24. Tennessee's game against the Pittsburgh Steelers initially scheduled for Week 4 was postponed to Week 7 (October 25) and their Week 5 matchup against the Buffalo Bills was moved back two days amid the growing number of cases.
