Pharrell Williams and Netflix Present A Gospel Docuseries "Voices of Fire"

Award winning music producer Pharrell Williams and streaming giant Netflix are scheduled to release a new unscripted Gospel music docuseries.

The Academy Award nominated Williams, announced that the streaming service ordered his docuseries “Voices of Fire.” The series will explore talent in the entertainer’s hometown of Hampton Roads, Virginia, as it “builds one of the world’s most inspiring Gospel choirs.” 

“Voices of Fire” follows Pharrell's uncle, Bishop Ezekiel Williams, the general overseer, pastor and founder of Faith World Ministries and other Gospel leaders, as they embark on a quest to find undiscovered voices in Hampton Roads. 

“With the belief that diverse backstories can give their collective voice a greater meaning, the bishop and his team search for people of all ages, ethnicities and backgrounds,” according to a description of the series.
