Bible teacher, "War Room" actress and author Priscilla Shirer announced Friday that doctors will remove an entire lobe of her left lung after discovering a small nodule that contained some “dangerous irregularities,” and she thanked supporters for their prayers ahead of the procedure.
Shirer is the daughter of Dr. Tony Evans and sister of singer Anthony Evans. They recently celebrated the life of her mom, Lois Evans who died after battling a rare form of cancer. The motivation speaker said the past few months have been filled with “difficulty” for her family.
She shared that three years ago doctors discovered a small nodule in her left lung. “Several pulmonary specialists and I have watched it meticulously since then. This past summer, it was clear that something surgical needed to be done as the nodule had begun to grow and show signs of dangerous irregularities,” she said.
She made the sweetest post yesterday about her her sister, Pastor Beth Moore and her friends stopping by to make "a celebration out of thin air" prior to her surgery scheduled for today, January 13, 2020.
