Jharrel Jerome of “When They See Us” Won An Emmy


Congratulations to all of the Emmy winners include actor Jharrel Jerome for his portrayal of Korey Wise in "When They See Us."

The auditorium erupted in cheers when Jharrel Jerome of “When They See Us,” about the Central Park Five case, won the best actor award for a limited series movie.

Jerome shared “Most important, this is for the men that we know as the Exonerated Five,” He named each of the five wrongly convicted men who were in the audience. Those men stood and saluted the actor as the crowd applauded them. His entire emotional speech is above and his phenomenal performance is below.
