Pastor Kanye West?

Kanye West held his now famous Sunday service at Coachella in front of an estimated 50,000 people. He was so inspired that he is reportedly considering starting his own church.

Sources say according to PEOPLE Magazine that “He understands brokenness and the need for healing, probably more than most people. He believes in the healing powers of music, but also believes that God can step in and heal people’s brokenness and their issues.”

West “has talked about starting his own church, and what exactly that would be,”but “no official plans” are in development according to the source. “It wouldn’t be the traditional, 3-hymns-and-a-sermon thing. Instead, it would be a way to point people to Jesus through the arts and through a community of people who love and care for each other. He also wants his kids to be raised in faith, and the best way for him to do that is to live out his faith.”

Reality star Kim Kardashian-West, the wife of Kanye West shared with Jimmy Kimmel that “There’s no praying,” during Kanye’s Sunday Service. “There’s no sermon. There’s no word. It’s just music and it’s just a feeling.” She described the Sunday Service that is now drawing record crowds as a “healing experience.”

Kanye has been holding his Sunday Service weekly since the beginning of the year. Many celebrities have attended and are sharing the experience via social media.
