Aretha Franklin's Four Sons Will Split $80M Estate


The Queen of Soul, Aretha Franklin passed away at her home in Detroit, Michigan, on August 16 at 76 years old after a battle with pancreatic cancer. According to court documents obtained by TMZ she had no will. Franklin's net worth at the time of her death was estimated to be roughly $80 million. Her assets will be divided equally among her four children, according to Michigan state law.

Aretha Franklin has a special needs son who will require financial and other forms of support for the rest of his life.
