So Tyler Perry received some really mixed reviews this past weekend...and not at the box office. Pastor Joel Osteen, pastor of Lakewood Church in Houston, had Tyler as "preacher" for all three of the church's services this past Sunday. Well, a lot of the members, in the sanctuary that day as well as those on line, did not appreciate Tyler in the pulpit. Some of the comments spoke on the fact that Tyler "lives" with his girlfriend...not married, although the couple recently gave birth to their first child. Others complained about the movies Tyler directs/produces. Members of the church felt that the shows Tyler has on the OWN network are very sexual, promote homosexuality, and have too much cursing. They did not feel that he should be "preaching" in the church. What are your thoughts?!
