Lifeline Question of the Day

Hey Mike & Sherry,

I am a wife and mother of 2 beautiful children. My husband and I have chosen to breastfeed our children. I just stopped breastfeeding my 4 year old son about a year ago and I am currently breastfeeding my 8 month old daughter. We were recently in the grocery store and my daughter needed to be nursed. A woman walked up to me and expressed that she thought it was disrespectful that I was feeding her in the store without covering up. My husband and I feel it is our rights as parents to feed our daughter wherever we are and we shouldn’t have to cover her head while doing so.

I would love to hear what the Hallelujah listeners have to say about breastfeeding in public? Where is the real violation of rights? Mine or theres?
