Bobbi Kristina, the only child of the R&B singer and late wife Whitney Houston, posted a few pics to Instagram on Sunday, showing some warm embraces between her and her previously estranged father.
"I got a running start! love you daddy! #familyfirst! Xxo" states one caption.
"(: my face says it all.. :) love you daddy!" and "#HappyHappyFathersDay," read the others.
Back in January, Bobbi Kristina, 21, announced on social media that she and family friend Nick Gordon were married, following an on-off engagement. The couple's relationship had reportedly been a source of tension in the extended Houston family, because Nick was treated like an adopted son to Whitney while she was still alive.
"#HappilyMarried SO#Inlove if you didn’t get it the first time that is," Bobbi Kristina wrote on one January photo of her holding hands with Nick.
However, sources tell The Insider With Yahoo that the pair never actually tied the knot.
Speaking to The Insider's Kevin Frazier two weeks ago, Brown addressed his relationship with his daughter.
"She's doing wonderful," Brown, 45, said of Bobbi Kristina. "We're going to spend Father's Day together, which I'm so grateful for… and I can't wait to get there.
"As a young lady, if you had to talk to her, would you say, 'Honey, hold off on the marriage. Let's wait a second before you get married,'?" Frazier asked.
"I wouldn't do that," Brown replied. "She makes a lot of great decisions. Her mother was very smart and she raised her very well. So I really don't trip or worry about her as much as people want to make it seem, you know? Like 'She's in danger.' No, she's not. She's a very bright, young, an beautiful young girl."
