Tennis star, Serena Williams is an ambassador for the Allstate Foundation’s Purple Purse program,and she is speaking about another side of domestic abuse: Financial abuse.
The champion wants to know if you can recognize the signs of financial abuse, the controlling behaviors present in 99 percent of all cases of domestic violence.
Williams is starring in a PSA for the Purple Purse program called “Signs.” In the video above, she shares some examples of financial abuse – like your partner not allowing you to work.
